A: When your current hosting provider can no longer meet the requirements of your site, or when you suffer from continual network downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the support team to respond back to you, it might be a smart idea to change your hosting provider, i.e. to move all the files for your web sites along with your databases from your current provider to your future provider. At JMR Web LLC, we are aware that this can often be difficult & time–consuming. For this reason, we’ll perform all that for you at no cost!Our highly competent technical team members will migrate your web site content from your present provider to us. Our technicians have lots of experience with web site migration and are able to take care of everything – from an average WordPress–powered weblog or Joomla^™–based web site, to a highly elaborate, custom–built app.

A: There are a lot of aspects to take into account – the total amount of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the present workload of our web site migration experts, etc. Having said that, we do try to carry out all website migrations in a 48–hour period. Smaller web sites are migrated much faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: We will need the login information for your old web hosting provider’s Control Panel and the website’s name (domain name).

A: Customer privacy is truly one of our foremost concerns – that’s why, both our payment transaction page and our Control Panel login page are protected with enterprise–level digital certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and managerial procedures to protect the data that we obtain on the World Wide Web. And we’ve got a very detailed and rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies the types of information that we gather.

A: Nah. Your website will stay available online during the transfer. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll let you know so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything is OK, all you will have to do is update your domain name’s DNS records.

A: Nope. Aside from your login details for the Control Panel, we do not require anything. We will never contact your hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: We can migrate your website from any hosting provider or any Linux–based web hosting platform as long as we can access the Control Panel and there’s FTP access available.The only websites that we cannot migrate are those based on closed–source software applications like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
