Dot NET Domains
When the Dot NET generic Top-Level Domain was first introduced in 1985, along with the first domain name extensions on the Internet, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure companies. In view of the fact that there were no specific requirements about the usage of the top-level domain, though, dot NET domains were purchased and used for diverse purposes and by many people. This domain extension is a great substitute of .COM, particularly if the desirable domain with the latter TLD is not available for registration.
Securing a .NET domain with our company is as easy as 1-2-3 and takes only a couple of minutes, taking into account that we partner with an ICANN-accredited registrar company. You can grab such a domain for a period between one and ten years, or, if you already own a domain, you can transfer it to our company and we will renew it once the transfer process is completed. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least 60 days old, given that they are unlocked and that you have taken an EPP transfer key – security measures introduced by the .NET Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS contact details of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you don’t want this information to be visible at all, you can order a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to obtain your real contact details.
The .NET top-level domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can pick if you want to concentrate on a particular country or zone using a domain name in the local language, or the global online community – using a generic English name.
