Established in 1987, Italy’s .IT ccTLD is very popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for building imaginative and interesting domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to construct an easy-to-memorize domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to return to your website or to give it with coworkers and fellows. The domain extension can also be used for a website, which is connected to the information sector because IT is an abbreviation, which is recognized all over the world.

Since .IT domains are not registered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry organization that supervises this top-level extension, such a domain can be ordered through a third-party provider, such as ours. You can purchase a dot IT domain for a year at a time, and the domains are transferable, so you can move your existing domain over to our firm and we will renew it the moment the transfer has been finalized. Due to the fact that there are existing Second-Level Domains that include names of different areas and localities in Italy reserved for local 3rd-level registrations, new names that include geographical areas of any sort are not allowed on any level to avoid any future confusion.
